VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Technician for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM. This is a Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity. Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm. Pay is $18 per hour.
Responsibilities- Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
- Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
- Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- At least 1 year of experience in fiberglass or composite repair.
- Proficiency with wet lay-up techniques, epoxy resins, and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Familiarity with pre-preg and vacuum bagging processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
