Material Handler

Overview

VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Material Handler for a leading organization in Albuquerque.

This is a Full Time Temp to Hire position.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am- 4:30 pm with a 30 min lunch or until 5pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.

• Receive, inspect, and store parts/materials.
• Package and ship materials domestically and internationally.
• Use shipping software to generate labels and documentation.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Kit parts and fulfill production/service orders.
• Load/unload trucks, track materials, and resolve discrepancies.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of material handling experience.
• Knowledge of material management practices.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Ability to work in loud environments and around moving equipment.
• Ability to work on your fit for your entire shift, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience and SAP Knowledge (preferred).
• Familiarity with AS9100 QMS environment (preferred).
• HAZMAT (IATA/DOT) certification (preferred).
