Overview

VIP staffing is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Tech for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM.

This is Full-Time, Temp-to-hire - Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30 with a 30 min lunch.

Pay is $15 per hour.

• Perform setup, calibration, assembly, soldering, and operation of production and testing equipment across all departments.
• Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues, ensuring smooth operations in each department.
• Record observations and findings during the assembly process in all departments and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Ensure work instructions and safety protocols are strictly followed in each department.
• Conduct functionality tests and inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
• Operate specialized tools such as needle punches, perimeter cutters, wire handling equipment, soldering tools, and laser cutting machinery, depending on the department.
• Collaborate with the engineering department to address technical feedback and improve processes.
• Monitor progress on all assemblies in each department, following up to ensure project timelines are met.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple production departments.
• Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, adjusting for different production processes.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced production environment.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
