Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures the operational efficiency of equipment to support production goals and maintains a safe working environment by adhering to maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Repair machinery to ensure operational efficiency and support production goals.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Ability to operate power tools including drills, grinders, and saws.
- Competence in using diagnostic instruments like multimeters, pressure gauges, and alignment tools.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of 480 Voltage systems.
- Skills in calibration, lubrication, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and technical manuals.
The position requires working in a manufacturing plant environment with noise, machines, and varying temperatures. The schedule includes training on the day shift depending on experience level, with a swing shift schedule from 3pm to 11:30pm, which can vary to start at 2pm or 2:30pm. The role involves hands‑on work, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally working from heights.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
