Keeping You Safe

Responsibilities
  • General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform the job assignments of the housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions and operate, and teach others how to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing of staff per policies and federal/state requirements.
  • Policies & Procedures – Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Reporting – Maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format to be delivered to HCSG and Facility management.
  • Training – Responsibilities include touring facility areas to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation.
  • Leadership – Handle managerial responsibilities: payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching and discipline, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
  • Communication – Effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
  • Safety – Use protective gear, properly mix and use cleaning solutions, report equipment/cleaning product needs, and follow infection control procedures.
  • Punctuality – Consistent attendance, punctual arrival, timely completion of assigned cleaning area, and respond to paging system in a timely manner.
  • Customer Experience – Represent HCSG positively, be courteous, and cooperate with supervisor, coworkers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience – Positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
