The Distribution Center Supervisor for Shaw’s Albuquerque Distribution Center (RDC) is a hands‑on operational leader responsible for the full associate and customer experience in a small, high‑trust, high‑ownership facility. This role oversees all daily warehouse functions—including receiving, storing, order processing, shipping, and will‑call customer pickup—while also actively performing frontline operational tasks as needed. This leader ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations, maintains strong communication with customers and sales partners, and drives a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
This role will work 6 AM
-3:30 PM on weekdays.
- Direct up to 4 associates total, consisting of two Class-A CDL drivers and as many as two warehouse/office associates.
- Service Shaw customers in designated areas of New Mexico, Southern Colorado, and the El Paso, TX market.
- Ensure a safe work environment is provided for all associates to include compliance with all DOT and OSHA requirements.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all employees in the facility. Conduct regular associate meetings as required/needed to discuss safety, quality, and policy requirements.
- Motivate associates by assisting and empowering them to achieve facility goals and implement improvement processes as needed.
- Ensure effective utilization of RDC assets.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers, Shaw sales, and internal business partners, maintaining effective communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, identifying any opportunities to enhance service, resolve service gaps, and strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate with delivery partners to schedule and track customer deliveries, ensuring on-time service.
- Document the need for and recommend disciplinary action when warranted.
- 2+ years of lead/supervisory experience in a distribution/warehouse environment. High School Diploma/GED required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
- Must have good computer skills including but not limited to Excel, Word, and other software programs. Familiarity/proficiency with order management systems and Point of Sale technologies is preferred.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or transportation environment, especially in smaller or mid‑sized operations.
- Prior indirect or direct leadership such as Lead, Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, Clerk III, or Transportation Coordinator (TC) with exposure to lift‑truck operators, drivers, and customer‑facing roles.
- Hands‑on leadership experience—comfortable working alongside the team rather than managing from an office.
