Position Summary
Responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day Shipping and Receiving operations and personnel and ensuring cost effective and targeted creative development and production, while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests. Ensures employee and guest compliance and conforms to all Tribal, Federal, State, Pueblo of Isleta Regulatory, and Isleta Resort and Casino regulations.

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

Departmental Leadership- Promotes the overall cleanliness, safety, security, receiving, storage, and distribution of all materials and goods.
- Works within the established philosophies and guidelines of the company while meeting senior management’s expectations.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the receiving, storage, wardrobe and distribution functions for the Casino and Resort.
- Manages, directs, and supervises monthly inventories of shipping & receiving storerooms, verifies counts, and authorizes adjustments prior to submitting to Accounting.
- Adjusts PAR levels according to usage and verifies against the computerized inventory system(s).
- Reviews and verifies accuracy and completeness of all receiving documentation prior to submitting to Accounts Payable.
- Prepares and effectively communicates variance reports, invoices, PR’s and PO’s with all departments as requested.
- Promotes compliance for operations and personnel with applicable Tribal, county, state, and federal laws.
- Monitors staff performance, behavior, and attendance to ensure adherence to all Isleta Resort and Casino SOPs and recommends disciplinary action as warranted.
- Schedules and plans shift calendars, communicates departmental and organizational goals, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Enforces department standards, objectives, and policy that are in accordance with the Isleta Resort and Casino’s organizational mission.
- Manages direct reports to accomplish performance goals. Provides developmental coaching and guidance for long-term career growth opportunities.
- Resolves, both, internal and external guest issues and problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Establishes and maintains short and long-range plans, budgets, and manpower forecasts.
- Establishes, directs, and maintains departmental controls through the creation and maintenance of effective operational and departmental policies and procedures.
- May be assigned to drive company vehicle on public roads, to and from Isleta Pueblo properties, and/or other destinations.
- Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.
- Greets guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Directly supervises Shipping and Receiving Clerks.
Recommends supervisory employment actions and responsibilities in accordance with the Isleta Resort and Casino’s policies, SOPs, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding of employees; promoting, demoting, and reassigning employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and Experience- High School Degree or GED equivalent required.
- Two (2) years Isleta Resort and Casino Control, Inventory, and/or Shipping and Receiving experience, required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
