The President/CEO serves as the chief executive and visionary leader of the Albuquerque Museum Foundation. This individual is responsible for overall strategy, fundraising, fiscal management, and organizational leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic fundraising acumen, investment and endowment oversight experience, and a collaborative leadership style to strengthen AMF’s long‑term sustainability and community impact.
Other Information/Requirements- Minimum 7+ years of senior nonprofit leadership experience, including success in major gift fundraising and financial oversight.
- Proven record of securing six‑ and seven‑figure gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Understanding of endowments and working with investment committees.
- Knowledge of nonprofit finance, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.

Salary Range$125,000 – $160,000 (commensurate with experience) and a performance‑based bonus.
