Broadband Field Technician – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Requirements- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Locate aerial, buried, and underground utilities through nondestructive methods.
- Locate and identify building utility entrances and exits.
- Distinguish types of cabling and equipment on utility poles.
- Record and document field data in accordance with CAD standard formats.
- Document location of telephone poles and attachments.
- Identify and measure duct banks and riser conduits.
- Operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Travel is mandatory, with up to 40 % of time worked on travel across the US.
- Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities.
- Work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product.

- Cognitive abilities such as selective attention, oral and written comprehension and expression, reasoning, and problem sensitivity are required to remain alert and responsive while working in lane closure zones adjacent to high‑traffic areas.
- Physical abilities include hand‑eye coordination, upper and lower body strength, stamina, repetitive finger movements, lifting and carrying up to 50 lb in various environments, and the ability to walk long distances (3 + miles) and climb uneven surfaces. Outdoor conditions may involve extreme weather, high noise levels, and exposure to allergens or wildlife hazards.
- Office tasks involve extensive use of electronic devices and may require use of cutting tools and pneumatic, hand, and power tools.
- Driving may involve large pickups, trailers, or watercraft for extended periods.
- Full‑time position, generally 40 hours per week; hours may fluctuate with overtime.
- Standard operating hours Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CST; 1‑hour unpaid lunch break.
- Requires in‑person work; not eligible for remote work.
