Street Sweeper Operator

As a Street/Parking Lot Sweeper Operator, you will be responsible for visiting assigned properties each night throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding area. You will work 25‑30 hours per week, likely closer to 30, between the hours of 8 PM‑3 AM Tuesday‑Friday.

• Operate and drive a street sweeper.
• Sweep walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Operate a leaf blower.
• Maintain cleanliness by collecting and removing litter and debris from premises, including parking lots and landscaping.
• Perform other exterior cleaning tasks as assigned.

• General labor experience.
• Cleaning and janitorial skills.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Custodial skills.
• Housekeeping skills.
• Construction experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company.
• Understanding of basic safety precautions, rules, and regulations.
• Dependability and ability to work independently.

This position requires working outdoors on an overnight schedule. It is recommended to wear boots or rain boots and dress appropriately for the weather when power washing. You will work both independently and as part of a team as needed. The schedule is Tuesday to Friday from 8 PM until completion, depending on the properties at the time, for up to 30 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Albuquerque, NM.
