FTE: 1.00 Full Time Shift: Rotating

Maintain and install low voltage systems within the Hospital and satellite facilities. Perform a variety of standard related maintenance duties and tasks. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

• Install, repair, and maintain all assigned systems within the hospital and satellite facilities
• Maintain records pertinent to the operation, maintenance, and repair of the above systems
• Assist in IT equipment repair as needed
• Maintain all hospital owned tools in safe operating condition and report any unsafe tools needing repair to the supervisor
• Observe all safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist other department personnel as needed
• Perform related duties and responsibility as required
• Perform equipment maintenance as a part of the facility maintenance response team as assigned

Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Vocational or Technical 1 Year Related Field

• 1 year directly related experience
• No preferred experience

• Valid New Mexico Driver's License
• UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit within 60 days
• Vocational Certificate in related specialized field

Heavy Work:
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
