Bilingual Paralegal

Manage a full caseload of diverse cases, including kinship guardianship, emancipation, young parent (custody), and adoption, among others.

Manage attorney calendars, appointments, and correspondence with clients to keep them up-to-date with their cases.

Contact various personnel at the courts to obtain necessary information, ask questions about cases, or find out different court processes.

• May obtain certification to become a notary and provide notary services for current and prospective clients.
• Maintain practical knowledge of each of the services that Pegasus provides.
• Work independently and collaboratively to ensure high-quality youth and community-driven advocacy.

• Spanish fluency
• Strong interpersonal & written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Google Apps (Gmail/drive/docs)
• Time management skills, conflict resolution, communication, and patience

• Past legal experience including filing pleadings
• Past client-facing experience highly preferred
