Job Title:
Hardware Support Technician (HP/Lenovo – Laptop, PC & Printer)
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Support Technician responsible for on-site hardware part replacement for HP and Lenovo laptops, desktops, and printers. The technician will operate under a strict 1-hour SLA and will replace dispatched parts, including complex components such as motherboards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site replacement of hardware parts for HP and Lenovo laptops and desktop PCs.
Replace critical components including:- Motherboards (Laptop & Desktop)
- RAM, HDD/SSD
- Keyboards, Screens, Batteries
- Power supplies, Fans, Heatsinks
- Fusers
- Rollers
- Printheads
- Paper trays and internal assemblies
Attend service tickets and complete part replacement within 1-hour SLA.
Coordinate with client dispatch team for receiving spare parts.
Ensure proper disassembly and reassembly following OEM standards.
Conduct post-repair testing to ensure device functionality.
Follow ESD safety procedures during motherboard and internal component replacement.
Update service reports and ticketing systems accurately.
Maintain professional communication with onsite client contacts.
Required Skills & Experience- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in hardware repair and replacement.
- Strong experience with HP and Lenovo laptop/desktop hardware architecture.
- Proven experience in motherboard replacement for laptops and desktops.
- Knowledge of BIOS configuration and post‑replacement validation.
- Experience in printer hardware servicing.
- Ability to work under strict SLA timelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- IT Hardware / Computer Engineering Diploma or Certification.
- HP or Lenovo certified technician (preferred).
- Experience working in SLA‑based field support environments.
