📍 Multiple Locations – Albuquerque-Santa Fe Metropolitan Area, USA

🕒 Contract | Freelance (1099 or B2B) | On-Call Support

Sharp Brains Limited (UK) is currently looking for experienced HP/Lenovo Hardware Break-Fix Technicians to support multiple client sites across Albuquerque-Santa Fe Metropolitan Area. This is an on‑call, ticket‑based freelance opportunity ideal for independent field engineers and small IT service providers.

Role Overview

You will provide onsite diagnostics, hardware repairs, and break‑fix support for enterprise end‑user devices, printers, and POS systems in your nearby service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform onsite diagnostics and repairs for HP/Lenovo laptops, desktops, and tablets
  • Motherboard replacement & branding
  • Screen, battery, webcam, and audio component replacements
  • Support HP Retail POS systems (printers, scanners, monitors, cash drawers)
  • Provide break‑fix services for HP printers (Desk Jet, Office Jet, Laser Jet Pro, Envy, A4 & A3)
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues including toner errors, imaging faults, and mechanical failures
  • Complete assigned tickets within SLA timelines (60 minutes from onsite arrival)
  • Coordinate parts collection/delivery (Fed Ex when required)
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance reporting
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and end users
  • Follow HP/Lenovo service and safety standards
Requirements
  • Proven hands‑on experience in HP/Lenovo hardware break‑fix support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across laptops, desktops, printers & POS systems
  • Ability to travel to customer locations within your nearby area
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to support urgent and on‑demand dispatches
  • 6‑Month Contract (Extendable)
  • On‑Call / On‑Request (Mon–Sun, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Local Time)
  • Payment structure:
    Fixed rate per completed ticket (as mutually agreed)
