Essential Duties And Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver training programs for our service technicians. The Corporate Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring our technicians are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment, technical expertise, and a passion for training and development.

Job Activities
  • Develop comprehensive training programs for service technicians, covering technical skills, safety procedures, equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Design training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and hands‑on exercises, to effectively convey technical concepts and best practices.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions both in‑person and virtually, ensuring active participation and knowledge retention among participants.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department managers to identify training needs and prioritize learning objectives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, equipment advancements, and best practices in heavy equipment service to continuously enhance training programs.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to service technicians, offering guidance and resources to further develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in onboarding new service technicians, facilitating orientation sessions and ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Maintain training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the training department, suggesting innovative ideas and process enhancements.
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Proven experience as a corporate trainer, technical trainer, or similar role, with a focus on heavy equipment or automotive industry preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment systems, components, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
