SummaryHII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator for a high‑priority project that is part of its Space Protection and Response Solution Contract. The project aims to provide innovative technology solutions to safeguard the Nation’s space mission capabilities across multi‑domain, joint, and coalition conflict scenarios. In this role you will implement and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and security of all network systems.
WhatYou Will Do
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN equipment including routers, switches, multiplexers, and VPNs.
- Manage internetworking protocols (IP, VLANs, VTP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, multicast) across Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade platforms.
- Perform packet‑level diagnostics using Net Flow, protocol analyzers, sniffers, and log analysis.
- Apply DoD STIGs to network devices and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as Solar Winds.
- Assist in network design, documentation, and implementation.
- Support cross‑domain connectivity and implement robust network security measures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 7 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or, a High School Diploma or equivalent with 13 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in network operations and support within DoD or federal environments.
- Hands‑on experience with cross‑domain solutions and network security planning.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Security+, or an equivalent IAT Level II certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- CCNP certification or equivalent.
Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity are required to meet the duties of the position.
