The Market Medicaid Advisor is responsible for improving Medicaid Eligibility performance across assigned centers by optimizing revenue cycle outcomes from pre-admission through discharge. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Medicaid Eligibility, driving timely approvals, reducing AR, and ensuring compliance with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) policies and metrics.

Reporting to the Market Revenue Cycle Advisor, the Market Medicaid Advisor collaborates closely with center, market, national, and state partners to remove barriers to eligibility, improve financial results, and strengthen accountability.

Position Highlights

• Guide and support our nursing centers in navigating the complexities of Medicaid eligibility requirements, acting as the go-to resource for staff.
• Identify and overcome challenges in the Medicaid application process, collaborating with nursing center staff and state agencies to ensure timely approvals.
• Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to nursing center staff on all aspects of Medicaid eligibility, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Analyze key metrics, track progress, and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle management and reduce bad debt.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing home bookkeeping.
