Leading and inspiring a team of Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) who count on your guidance and support.
Overseeing the daily operations of our group homes to make sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and according to plan.
Coordinating services and activities for residents so their days are fulfilling and goal-focused.
Rolling up your sleeves when needed — covering shifts, handling on-call responsibilities primarily evenings or weekends, or providing support for our clients.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Implements required safety drills and completes safety checklist as required and insures staff’s training requirements are current. Ensures staff is scheduled for required trainings and re-certifications on a timely basis.
Assists with schedules and facilitates monthly house staff meetings and other agency meetings as required.
Building relationships with residents, their families, and your team to ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
Other Information/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Three (3) years experience working with the disabled adult population or related human services field required.
One (1) year supervisory experience required.
Associates degree in a related human services field may substitute for working experience.
