Presbyterian Health Services is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to support a peak in patient census at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment ideal for confident travel nurses with strong emergency care experience.

• Job Title: ED RN
• Department: Emergency Department
• Number of Openings: 2
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Floating: Required between departments and/or facilities within a 20-mile radius

• 2+ years of recent experience in a large Emergency Department
• Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test
  • Test administered onsite prior to start
  • One retest allowed; second failure results in contract cancellation
• Active New Mexico RN license or Compact license
• Required certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Certifications must be through AHA, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety

• ADN or ASN required

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered emergency care
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient families
• Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete unit-specific competencies and education
