As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will recruit, interview, and assign volunteers, serving as a liaison between volunteers and staff. You will also assist with special events and projects, and help develop new services while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24‑hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as ENT, bariatric and orthopedic service lines.

• Recruits, interviews and coordinates assignments of new volunteers for assigned area(s).
• Serves as a liaison to volunteers and staff.
• Assists with special events and projects as requested.
• Participates in the development and implementation of new services.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
