Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
- Work primarily in an OR setting with a focus on adult cardiac catheterization, devices, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures
- New neuro procedures are performed in the OR alongside cardiac and EP cases
- 10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30), Monday through Friday
- Floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius is required
- No local candidates; minimum 50-mile radius required for eligibility
- Responsibilities include performing adult cardiac catheterizations, cardiac device placements, electrophysiology studies, and structural heart procedures
- Duties also involve documentation, accuracy of medication and charges, supply ordering, and maintaining lab equipment and cleanliness
- Must assure procedure room readiness and comply with regulatory standards
- Return perm staff must wait one year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia testing required during orientation with one possible retake; failure leads to termination
- Must be a flexible team player with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording
- Successful completion of at least one prior 13-week travel assignment
- Associate's degree in Invasive Cardiovascular/Cariopulmonary Technologist, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Surgical Technology, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- RCIS or RCES certification and current BLS and ACLS required
- License required if applicable
