Certification Details
- Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.
- Flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Job Details
- Two (2) years of combined current experience required in NICU and PICU.
- Six (6) to twelve (12) months of adult critical care, progress care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics experience.
- Must have initiated and managed high frequency oscillation and jet ventilation within two (2) years current experience.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care.
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
Job Requirements
- Varied shifts; do not guarantee block scheduling.
- On call, weekends, and holidays are required.
- Varied assignments.
- Floating required - may need to float to other care areas within the facility and alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
- May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- Traveling in pairs is NOT guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
