Image Analyst

Overview

Summary This is a scientific and technical position responsible for doing scientific analysis for digital pathology images with appropriate presentation of key data to the stakeholders.

Sr. Imaging Scientist

• Performs end-to-end histo-pathology image analysis studies for our pharmaceutical & biotech clients.
• Meets with clients to identify study requirements and propose study design.
• Conducts image analysis study including slide-scanning, image analysis, and data analysis.
• Maintains regular status communications with client throughout study execution.
• Prepares study reports for client and presents results, data, and findings.
• Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Evolves with the role; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

• Bachelor’s Degree in science or related biomedical science
• One (1) year of experience in image analysis or digital pathology
• One (1) year of experience with data analysis, including statistical analysis of experimental data
• Authorization to work in the United States, or appropriate authorization to work in the applicant’s current home country (Indica Labs, Inc. does not sponsor work visas)

• Master’s Degree in science or related biomedical science

• Ability to deliver presentations to small and large scientific audiences
• Soft skills, with a passion for providing superior customer service
• Basic skills in Information Technology (IT) and network knowledge
• Ability to provide complex data in an easy to understand format
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to work for extended periods of time using computer screens

This position is based at our headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a full-time in office position. Remote candidates will be considered outside of New Mexico as fully remote employees.
