Type of Opportunity:
Full Time (1.0 FTE/39-40 hours per week)
Work Schedule:
(3) 13-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts in Days, Nights, or Swing shifts

- $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential, earned on all hours worked.
- $5.00/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate.
- $3.00/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current New Mexico driver s license is required (out-of-state candidates have 30 days from date of hire to obtain) without relevant restrictions
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- Must possess and maintain a State of New Mexico EMT-Basic certification
- Must maintain all required certifications (i.e. BLS, DOT certification)
- Must be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with EMT-Basic licensure
- Documents and maintains accurate medical records for patient encounters through use of Image Trend Elite.
- Provides prehospital 911 emergency care and/or Inter-facility transportation for injured and/or ill patients.
- Performs in scope BLS interventions such as oxygen administration, CPR, defibrillation, splinting, bleeding control, and wound dressing
- Attendance at departmental staff meetings and/or in-service educational programs while keeping current with developments in the field.
- Proactively utilizes best practices to minimize response and drop times.
- Operates emergency vehicles in a safe manner, consistent with EVOC.
