• Provide assistance and support to surgeons by preparing and supplying instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
• Work under the direct supervision of the surgeon and facilitate a safe, effective, and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety.
• Maintain sterile and aseptic technique, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Short‑term training in an operating room setting or graduation from an accredited surgical technician certification program is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment, and working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
• Minimum of three years experience in a hospital operating room.
• Certification required, or minimum of 10+ years of experience and skillset to perform all specialties.
