Since 1987, Perinatal Associates of New Mexico (PANM) has provided the best high‑risk pregnancy care in the Southwest in a comfortable, soothing environment. Our expert staff is devoted to treating each patient and her family with dignity, respect, and compassion. We have grown to thirteen (13) locations throughout the state to better serve our population. We are looking to add a sonographer/ultrasound technician to our new outreach clinic in Clovis.
This position is part‑time and averages twenty (20) hours per week. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to supplement his/her income with regular, part‑time work. When the patient volume supports it, we will offer full‑time hours and benefits. We will provide extensive specialized training in Albuquerque and will reimburse mileage, travel time, and lodging for hired applicants.
Sonographers provide evaluation through high‑risk ultrasound exams according to protocols and AIUM regulations. They interpret and document the procedure, give a report of the findings and pathology to the provider seeing the patient and to the referring OB provider as needed. They also advise on scheduling the patient for necessary follow‑ups.
Sonographers also follow and maintain accurate billing and coding policies while providing services in a caring, empathetic, professional, ethical and legal manner.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in OB. The starting salary is $38.00/hour and is negotiable based on education, years of experience, and certifications.
