Target Pay Range: $24.736 – $30.920 per hour
- Conduct thorough background investigations of defendants awaiting trial.
- Formulate appropriate release plans and case management plans based on statutes, rules, court appearances, and criminal history.
- Supervise a defendant’s compliance with court‑ordered programs and conditions of release.
- Act as a judicial designee in formulating recommendations for release eligibility, sanctions, and detention.
- Release defendants from custody based on court‑ordered release conditions.
- Document all interactions and update case‑management assessments.
- Oversee supervision contracts and protocols based on program policies.
- Verify defendants’ needs and develop multifaceted treatment support or referrals.
- Determine eligibility for specialty court programs.
- Provide case‑management services aligned with defendants’ needs and court‑ordered conditions of release.
- Maintain and administer alcohol and drug screening protocols and equipment.
- Collaborate with treatment providers and monitor compliance reports.
- Notify the court of defendants’ compliance to recommend appropriate action.
- Participate and provide input during court proceedings and other agency meetings.
- Provide treatment information options to judges, providers, and community members.
- Monitor defendants’ compliance utilizing electronic monitoring technology.
- Perform scheduled and spontaneous site visits to participants’ home, school, work, or other locations to monitor program compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge and experience in court‑ordered programs, case‑management techniques, pre‑adjudication supervision procedures, sanctions, bond/bail and release from detention rules, release planning, treatment and rehabilitation services, sentencing guidelines, judicial procedures, and electronic monitoring equipment.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, social sciences, or a related field from an accredited institution (or four years of directly related experience may substitute one year). - Experience:
Three years in criminal justice, social services, probation, corrections, or a related field.
