Senior Subject Matter Expert; SME - Reforestation

Flux Resources is staffing for a FEMA recovery effort in New Mexico and is building a roster of Reforestation Subject Matter Experts to support post disaster vegetation and ecosystem recovery. This role provides technical expertise related to replanting, restoration planning, and long-term land recovery following disaster events. These roles will primarily be remote aside from an initial couple week travel period.

Payrate for these roles will likely fall in the $50-$60/hr range.

• Assessment of vegetation loss and reforestation needs
• Technical input on replanting and restoration strategies
• Support for environmental recovery and sustainability planning
• Review of restoration plans and supporting documentation
• Coordination with forestry, environmental, and planning teams

• 10+ years of experience in reforestation, ecology, forestry, environmental science, or related disciplines
• Wildfire or large-scale land restoration experience preferred

Registered Forester credentials, ecological certifications, environmental science licenses, or similar professional qualifications
