AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a C
ivil Engineer to join our Water group in the Albuquerque, NM office. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of hydrology & hydraulic calculations and developing hydrologic and hydraulic models, permit applications, utility designs, grading and drainage plans. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong design skills and communication skills to support teams in a collaborative environment.
- Responsible for assisting with preparation calculation packages to support the completion of design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, alternatives analysis, technical memoranda, and design documentation reports.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculation and relatively simple tests.
- Provides project leadership in the areas of design, investigation, analysis, and construction of water management systems
- Support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and drainage/civil design
- Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports, and other work products
- Analysis and design of stormwater drainage system, hydraulic structures, and roadway drainage systems
- Must be capable of performing independent tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
