Key Responsibilities Compile datasets for physical and mechanical properties and complex mechanical phenomena Perform qualification of existing data per ASME NQA-1-2015 and develop advanced material performance models Plan and oversee test programs, perform quantitative analysis, and maintain a Python-based material database
Required Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred Solid understanding of metallurgy, including fabrication and thermomechanical processing of ferrous and nonferrous alloys General understanding of nuclear reactor design and its impact on materials is a plus Ability to work independently to solve complex problems High degree of trust, integrity, and teamwork orientation
