Outside Plant Engineer

A company is looking for an Outside Plant Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities Manage fiber administration practices to maintain and enhance the fiber network Perform OTDR testing and analysis to ensure fiber optic cable integrity and optimal performance Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects and ensure timely deliverables

Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of field experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or a related field Associate Degree or Certification in Fiber Optics Technology, Networking and Communications, or Electronics Engineering Technology Certifications such as Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) or OTDR Testing Certification are highly desirable Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or CAPM) is preferred for handling multiple projects Safety Certifications, such as OSHA 10/30, relevant to construction and OSP environments
