Security Systems Administrator (Systems Administrator1)
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to serve as the technical backbone for the integrated security systems at our Customers Studios in Albuquerque. This role isn't just about managing servers; it’s about ensuring the uptime, integrity, and evolution of a massive Genetec Security Center environment. You will be embedded as a key technical resource by M.C. Dean, bridging the gap between traditional IT infrastructure and advanced physical security technology.
Key Responsibilities- Genetec Environment Management: Oversee the health and performance of Genetec Omnicast (VMS), Synergis (Access Control), and Auto Vu (ALPR). Perform regular firmware updates, license management, and system optimization.
- Field Tech Integration: Step "out of the rack" to perform advanced troubleshooting on edge devices, including IP cameras, HID readers, and network switches.
- Network Maintenance: Learn to manage VLANs and PoE budgets to ensure zero‑latency video streaming and data integrity across the studio campus.
- Security & Compliance: Learn to implement hardening guides to protect security data, managing active directory integrations and ensuring the system meets Netflix’s global security standards.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between M.C. Dean’s deployment teams and Netflix’s local studio operation.
- BS degree and 0+ Years of progressive experience or HS Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ Years of progressive experience
- Requires some system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
- Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer.
- Ability to be on‑call 4 weekends out of the year, in effect after 1 year of employment.
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
