Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled engineer to be part of the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) Team to help design, develop, integrate and test our space vehicle programs. Be part of a fast-paced team, that rapidly and affordably designs, develops and implements solutions to AI&T challenges. Our Team is seeking motivated self-starter type personnel to take on a multitude of different activities to drive integration and test to the forefront of our development process.

As a member of the Spacecraft Programs Team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will shape the future of national security space.
You will be required to work within a small and agile team on a broad set of tasks and ensure the highest quality product through all phases of the space element design, build, test and operations. You will be part of building a culture in our Spacecraft Programs Team that that rewards experienced application of proven approaches and risk management techniques to enable mission success.
Collaboration across engineering and software disciplines is essential. Personal ownership and accountability within the AI&T Team is aligned with the necessary responsibilities to be successful within the company.
- Senior Lead Integration and Test Engineer for very complex projects that affect multiple systems, involve several suppliers and teaming partners.
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
- Experience with standard lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, thermocouples/temp sensors.
- Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of hardware products
- Proven ability to create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
- Documentation of key activities such as test results, quality control and failures.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software integration problems.
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
- Reports progress in meeting program requirements periodically.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field – OR - 8 to 15 years of related experience AI&T engineering or operations
- Experience conducting quality assurance for spacecraft AI&T
- Proven track record of developing and executing a broad scope of AI&T procedures on a successful major spacecraft program
- Environmental testing experience for harsh environments such as vibration, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC.
- Experience with test planning, automated test equipment, test procedures and data acquisition.
- Experience with any of the following:
Epsilon3, Labview, Matlab, Python, Altium, Solid Works, AutoCAD.
- Experience with launch campaign planning, logistics and participation.
- Certified to IPC 620 with Space Addendum
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally in writing or verbally with all levels of personnel.
- Experience with control of sensitive and confidential information as required by company standards.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Hold current or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level.
This position is based in Albuquerque, NM, with occasional travel to other company locations, partner facilities or launch sites as needed.
