Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled technician to be part of the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) Team to help design, develop, integrate and test our space vehicle systems. Be part of a fast-paced team, that rapidly and affordably designs, develops and implements solutions to AI&T challenges. Our Team is seeking motivated self-starter type personnel to take on a multitude of different activities to drive integration and test to the forefront of our development process.
You will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft subsystems and flight hardware in accordance with engineering drawings, procedures, and industry standards. You will be required to work within a small and agile team of engineers, quality assurance, other technicians, and program teams to ensure hardware meets mission and flight certification requirements.

Personal ownership and accountability within the AI&T Team is aligned with the necessary responsibilities to be successful within the company.
Essential Job Functions- Perform precision mechanical and electrical assembly of spacecraft structures, mechanisms, harnesses, avionics, propulsion components, and payload hardware.
- Integrate subsystems into spacecraft-level assemblies following controlled work instructions, engineering drawings, and travelers.
- Conduct torqueing, staking, bonding, potting, crimping, soldering, and connector mating per aerospace standards.
- Apply ESD, contamination control, and cleanroom protocols during hardware handling and assembly.
- Experience with standard lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, thermocouples/temp sensors.
- Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of hardware products
- Proven ability to execute test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
- Documentation of key activities such as test results, quality control and failures.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software integration problems.
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
- Reports progress in meeting program requirements periodically.
- 8 to 15 years of experience successfully conducting spacecraft AI&T operations on major spacecraft program for a commercial entity
- Experience conducting quality assurance for spacecraft AI&T
- Certified to IPC 620 with Space Addendum
- Environmental testing experience for harsh environments such as vibration, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC.
- Experience with test planning, automated test equipment, test procedures and data acquisition.
- Experience with any of the following:
Epsilon3, Labview, Matlab, Python
- Experience with launch campaign planning, logistics and participation.
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally in writing or verbally with all levels of personnel.
- Experience with control of sensitive and confidential information as required by company standards.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Hold current or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level.
This position is based in Albuquerque, NM, with occasional travel to other company locations, partner facilities or launch sites as needed.
