Weston is seeking a Radioactive Field Technician that is a reliable and safety‑focused individual to support waste management operations. The ideal candidate will meet basic requirements and, ideally, bring relevant experience in hazardous materials handling and facility operations. This role involves hands‑on tasks in a regulated environment, with training provided as needed.

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Expected Outcome- Perform critical thinking about safety before performing hazardous tasks
- Pick up, transport, and handle waste/material on and off‑site
- Use a barcode scanner to retrieve and store waste/material
- Utilize air purifying and/or supplied air respiratory protection
- Operate forklifts, various waste handling equipment, and hand tools
- Operate facilities including monitoring mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Two years’ experience in waste management or related activities
- Experience operating materials‑handling equipment
- HAZWOPER 40‑hour training and current 8‑hour refresher training (Weston provided)
- Ability to obtain a CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
- Experience sorting/segregating material in a glovebox
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance (Q)

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range: $28,905 – $38,745 – $48,483
