Instrumentation and Controls Engineer – Career Level (Data Centers)
Base pay range: $95,200.00/yr – $/yr
About the RoleWe’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business.
In this role you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, providing on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff members, and helping to design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, document and model design information, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Controls, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
- Engineer in Training (EIT) – preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design – preferred
