Job Description- 4th/5th Grade Combined Teacher
- Full Time Pay is based on NM State licensure tiered system
- For the school year
- The ASK Academy (Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge), a 6th-12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is a STEM innovation school with a project‑based approach to teaching and learning and has been noted as among the top 3% of schools in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. The Middle School is ranked #2 in the State of New Mexico.
The scholars follow one of two career pathways – Biomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design. - The ASK Academy has entered its second decade and is searching for a Middle School Math Teacher.
- Requirements include: NM teaching license with endorsement in math, experience in middle school education, and familiarity with ASK’s STEM focus and project‑based learning approach.
- Stipend is available for those endorsed in Gifted and/or Special Education.
The position is available for the school year. This is a benefits‑eligible position. Staff members at The ASK Academy have preference in the school’s student enrollment lottery.
