University College seeks to hire a Lecturer toteach courses in the Academic Communities Program and Liberal Arts and Integrative Studies Program beginning fall semester of the  academicyear. Our College serves a diverse group of students with an emphasis on supporting students’ first-year transition into university life. We are seekinga motivated faculty member to engage in problem-solving, curriculum design, technology implementation, and student support.

The Lecturer will report to the Associate Deanfor Faculty and Staff.

• Master’s Degree in a pertinent field.
• Atleast three years of experience teaching high school and/or collegecourses.

• Atleast three years of experience teaching at least one of the following types of courses: college writing and/or college success skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to holistic and interdisciplinary education.
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich andvaried cultures of New Mexico and the success of the university’s missionto serve local and global communities.
