Overview
Medical Education Program Coordinator position in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Department of Internal Medicine. The division supports education and training of fellows, residents, and medical students while delivering high-quality patient care.
The role serves as the primary coordinator for the fellowship educational program and provides administrative support to four faculty members within the division.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the fellowship educational program and support day-to-day operations of the educational training program.
- Coordinate and schedule educational activities such as journal clubs, didactic sessions, and case conferences.
- Manage on-call and clinic schedules and assist with faculty and fellow administrative needs.
- Process travel requests and coordinate clinic cancellations for faculty and fellows, as applicable.
- Utilize applicable systems and tools (e.g., Chrome River, Banner, MyReports) as part of daily duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience with paperwork and software for financial documents.
- Experience with educational software assessment of students in an educational environment.
