Position SummaryThe UNM Computer Science Department is hiring motivated Student Section Leaders. These Section Leaders will assist professors with the running and operation of CS courses for the semester. The ability to work more than 10 hours a week in this capacity may be necessary.
GeneralDuties Include:
- Answer questions posed by students
- Assist faculty members with library research
- Assist faculty in developing course and lab materials
- Conduct Computer Science course lab sections
- Grade homework and tests
- Read and grade papers and exams
- Hold review sessions
- Provide in-class tutoring
- Other duties as assigned by supervisory professor and required by course
- Must be available during lab section times
Equivalencies not found for this position
Preferred Qualifications- 2.5 GPA or higher
- Undergraduate student with CS course experience
- Experience in a classroom/academic setting
- Student must be in good standing with Computer Science Department
