Position Overview
We are accepting applications for a Course Assistant position from Computer Science students regardless of work study award. The role assists with lab sections, grading, and tutoring within the Computer Science Department.
Responsibilities- Answer questions posed by students
- Conduct Computer Science course lab sections
- Grade homework and tests
- Read and grade papers and exams
- Hold review sessions
- Provide in-class tutoring
- Other duties as assigned by supervisory professor and required by course
- Undergraduate student who has successfully passed the Computer Science class being assisted
- Experience in classroom/academic setting
- In good standing with Computer Science Department
- 2.5 GPA or higher
