An Off-Campus Work-Study Position

We are seeking tutors for before-and after-school programs and summer programs. Ideal candidates have a wide range of interests, experiences and linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds. If you have a love for learning, want to serve as a positive role model for children, encourage parent and community involvement, and work effectively as part of a team, this job is for you!

Tutors will work with K-5 students.

Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM, enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (audit hours do not count), and if work study, you must meet satisfactory academic progress.

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Motivated, with a love for learning and working with children.
• Able to have fun and engage students positively.
• Must have a work-study award for the  school year.
