Overview
Temp Parttime Faculty - Finance & Innovation at the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico, seeks adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Spring 2026 and/or Summer 2026. Departmental needs may include specialties in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, and other management courses within undergraduate and graduate programs. The school is AACSB-accredited and offers a range of degrees, with emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion and collaborative student learning.
Positions are contingent upon need each semester based on student enrollment, course offerings, and graduation requirements. Selected candidates report to the Department Chairperson.
WagesAdjunct faculty are compensated based on credentials and course loads. The typical pay rate for a 3-credit hour course ranges between $4,919.91 and $6,979.91.

- October 31, 2025 for the Spring 2026 semester
- March 30, 2026 for the Summer 2026 semester
Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, and related management areas as needed. Engage in active adult learning, collaborative student interaction, and relevant scholarship to support the department’s mission.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a field related to the teaching assignment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or expertise in the related field evidenced in the cover letter and resume
- Evidence of teaching experience in the resume
- MBA or Ph.D. in a relevant field
- A demonstrated commitment to understanding the diverse cultures of New Mexico and to the university’s mission to serve local and global communities
