The College of Fine Arts, Department of Music, anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach in Spring 2024 and/or Fall 2023, 2024 semesters. Openings may include courses in:

• Applied Music
• Music Education
• Music History
• Music Theory
• World Music
• Choral and Instrumental Ensemble Direction
• String Pedagogy

Positions are contingent upon need each semester, determined by student enrollment, course offerings, and graduation requirements. Candidates will report to the Department Chair.

Compensation is based on credentials and credit-hour course loads.

• November 30, 2023, for Spring Semester 2024
• June 30, 2023, for Fall Semester 2023
• March 30, 2024, for Fall Semester 2024

• Master's degree in the discipline or subfield; or
• Successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program; or
• Equivalent tested experience as determined by the Music Department.

• Teaching experience in a post-secondary institution
