Position SummaryThe Department of
Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an
outstanding individual to join our Neuroradiology section. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medical

In-person, hybrid, and remote
options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions.
Clinical
responsibilities will focus primarily on multimodal neuroimaging interpretation
with opportunities to assist in other subspecialties according to interest or
expertise. It is desirable that the
candidate have expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques, including
functional MRI, DTI, MR Spectroscopy, and CT/MR perfusion, along with basic
procedural skills in fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture and myelography. Neuroradiologists serve as primary
consultants to multiple subspecialty clinical services, including adult and
child neurology, neurosurgery, and otolaryngology, and our team participates in
several multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards each week. Research
opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image
processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications
staff.

Minimum Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent
- Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico
- A board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date
- Completed Fellowship in Neuroradiology, hold a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology (A CAQ), eligible for A CAQ by contract start date, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques including functional MRI, DTI, MR spectroscopy and CT/MR perfusion, along with basic procedural skills in fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture and myelography
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
- Desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows
