Job Summary

Presbyterian Hearth & Vascular program is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary Cardiology group of Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Structural Cardiologists and CT Surgeons. This team plays a prominent role in New Mexicos cardiac care and has a goal of becoming recognized as the premier place for Cardiology care. The electrophysiology team is growing and provides an opportunity for growth, enhancement of skills, and an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques and technology.

Practice

Highlights
  • Perform diagnostic studies, electrophysiological mapping, and ablation procedures to assess cardiac function and identify abnormalities.
  • Perform the full range of electrophysiology procedures and device implementation.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented care with patient‑first philosophy.
  • Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Encourages individual and team professional growth, development and leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures in the clinic/laboratory setting.
  • Make professional judgments in the cardiac care of patients seen.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the management of patients, both in the hospital and outpatient settings.
  • Manage and oversee the physician/patient relationship.
  • Participate in system‑wide health management initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Collaborate with referring and consulting providers to optimize patient experience.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO Board‑eligible or certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
