Roles & Responsibilities

The Dental Assistant provides valuable assistance to Dentists and plays a key role in delivering an extraordinary patient experience.

  • Patient Education - Educate patients effectively and promote dental services by building rapport with patients and answering their questions.
  • Dental Assisting - Perform daily dental assisting activities including preparing operatories, taking digital dental x-rays, intraoral images, impressions, bite registrations, etc.
  • Charting - Assist Dentists in charting and comprehensive treatment planning.
  • Schedule - Make at least 20 daily outbound calls to patients to build a healthy patient schedule.
  • Dental Supplies - Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and instruments.
  • Lab Cases - Send, receive and track lab cases.
  • Team - Work closely with Front Office and other Dental Assistants to support smooth operations of the dental office.
