Location: Albuquerque, NM | On-Campus Pay Range: $17.84 – $21.40 / hour
Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Key Responsibilities- Sterilization Leadership:
Oversee the preparation of instruments and sterilization procedures, ensuring 100% compliance with clinic disinfection standards. - Safety & Compliance:
Assist with OSHA compliance, maintaining safety logs, and following strict radiological and health safeguards. - Inventory Control:
Maintain the clinical supply inventory and handle ordering in coordination with the Clinical Director. - Chair‑Side Support:
Serve as a chair‑side assistant for clinic dentists or hygienists as required during patient care. - Mentorship:
Coordinate and train Dental Assisting externs on clinic flow and sterilization techniques. - Clinic Maintenance:
Oversee the upkeep of lab equipment and track dental lab cases to ensure timely results.
- Credentials:
Must hold current licenses, certifications, or designations as required by New Mexico law to work in a dental setting (e.g., Radiation Health & Safety/DANB). - Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and OSHA clinical standards. - Communication:
Ability to follow complex instructions and communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public. - Physical:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate a busy indoor clinic environment.
- Pay: $17.84 – $21.40 per hour.
