Overview

La Vida Llena, Albuquerque’s premier upscale senior living community, is currently seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests & visitors. Along with assisting our guests, the Receptionist will also assist employees and residents with their needs as they relate to the specific responsibilities listed below.

: $15.00 to $18.00 / hr DOE

Work Schedule

On Call, Day Shifts, Must be able to work weekends.

What You Will Do
  • Demonstrate that Pacific Retirement Services’ (PRS) Core Values—excellence, innovation, integrity, stewardship, compassion, and collaboration—are ingrained into all aspects of your role.
  • Accept payment or bill accounts as necessary for additional services from residents and employees.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information to callers or direct calls to the appropriate employees or residents. Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist and/or direct residents to the most appropriate department or person to meet their needs. Provide assistance and information to employees, residents, and guests on a regular basis via phone, memo, fax, email, or in person.
  • Greet and assist visitors and guests interested in residency. Provide brochures to visitors and ask them to complete a form for the Sales and Marketing Department.
  • Help provide security by greeting, assisting, and screening all visitors, guests, vendors, contractors, employees, and residents.
  • Receive and send packages. Distribute daily mail the Postal Service is unable to deliver. Record information for incoming packages and notify employees or residents. Sort daily USPS and inter-office mail and forward to the appropriate department.
What You Need
  • Strong communication skills is a must.
  • Past experience with budgeting is great, but not necessary.
  • Experience in a receptionist role; 1 year of related experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment; basic typing, computer skills and organization skills required.
  • Prior experience in working with public or customer service role is strongly desired.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written directions
