DescriptionWagner Equipment Co. offers challenging career opportunities, extensive training and employee development. This role supports our Crushing & Screening division as a Parts Counter Sales person, performing sales and administrative duties with strong parts knowledge and customer service skills.
Pay Rate$20.00 – $35.00 per hour, dependent on education and experience.

- Receives phone and walk‑in customer requests for parts.
- Locates parts on various machines, CAT and other brands.
- Finds parts using automated system.
- Maintains organized notes and desk for quick access.
- Handles warranty credits, inspections and return processes.
- Pulls and processes orders, credits and quotes.
- Documents backorder needed notes for analysts.
- Ensures proper shipping instructions on orders.
- Cooperates with team members to meet warehouse/parts goals.
- Acts as liaison to Service Shops for parts backorders.
- Answers phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Assists counter personnel with parts information.
- Supports supervisor on projects.
- Handles on‑call duties after hours.
- Recommends additional purchases when selling a part.
- Provides leads to PSSR’s, Service shops, etc.
- Conveys parts technical information when needed.
- Directs customers to appropriate service techs.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year working with parts.
- At least 1 year administrative/clerical experience.
- At least 1 year customer service experience.
- At least 1 year sales experience.
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing.
- Squatting/Kneeling.
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
- Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication, math skills.
- Safety & Product knowledge.
- Medium work, lifting/moving objects up to 32 pounds or more.
